A recent recall was issue for 128,000 packages of infant wear from the manufacturer Weeplay Kids LLC. Under the names of Carter's Watch the Wear Bodysuits and Sleep 'n Play Garments, select packages of these items have been recalled due to a choking hazard as at least thirty cases of owners have found the snaps can fall off. Of these reports of malfunctioning clothing, no injuries occurred.
These items are sold in packages typically with either two, three, or five items per package. Each package contains a multicolored variety of clothing in solid pastel colors, patterns, and stripes. Items were sold at retailers like Big Lots, Gabriel Brothers, Century 21, and more.
If you are concerned that you may have any of the recalled items, you can confirm by looking for the style number on the back side of the packaging. Style numbers affected include N8963LB, N8963LG, N8963LN, N8964B1, N8964B2, N8964G1, N8964G2, N8964LB, N8964LG, N8964LN, N8964N1, N8991LW (for Carter's Watch the Wear Bodysuits) and numbers N8965LB, N8965LG, N8965LN (for Sleep 'n Play Garments). Affected items were sold between November 2010 and August 2011.
