Picking Paint Samples

I have big plans. Big painting plans. This summer, I am going to transform my favorite room of the house - the sunroom - into something magical. Forget Extreme Home Makeover - this transformation is going to be epic! The before and after is going to awe even the most talented interior designer. My sunroom will be featured in every popular magazine including Better Homes and Garden. Yeah, it is going to be sweet...

Maybe I am exaggerating a little bit.

Today I picked up paint samples of various colors to paint my sunroom. I am hoping this summer to decorate this bare room with a little color and some wall art. It certainly won't be a huge transformation like I joked about above, but right now the room has white walls and very little personality. My idea is to pick a blue-green color that would be reminiscent of the ocean. Since there are a lot of windows, I want to keep the room light and airy, but add a little color to give the walls some interest.

I brought home all of the samples and stuck them on the wall. For hours I have studied the colors and I can't seem to decide on which one. I saw something on TV that when selecting a paint color for walls, it is best to leave up the samples so we can see the colors in all types of light. Perhaps tomorrow the winning color will jump out at me.
